PPL Electric Default Service (Full Requirements) RFP - ANNOUNCEMENT: RFP Documents Posted for July 2026 Solicitation; Qualifications due on June 24 (noon)
PPL Electric has posted RFP documents for the July 2026 Solicitation under its sixth Default Service Program (“DSP VI”). Pursuant to the PPL Electric DSP VI, PPL Electric will purchase full requirements tranches, long-term block supply, alternative energy credits and long-term PA solar AECs to serve its default service customers. The July 2026 Solicitation will feature a Default Service RFP.
Bidder Qualifications are submitted online and are due by noon on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
The RFP Manager will send login credentials and instructions to all RFP Bidders who have requested qualification accounts under DSP VI. New RFP Bidders must request an account to access the online Qualification form by requesting an account here.
