NYPA Contracts
As stated in Section 1.1.4 of the Default Service RFP Process and Rules document, the Default Service load for the Residential Customer Group will be reduced by the committed capacity and energy obtained under long-term contracts. PPL Electric receives capacity and energy under a long-term contract with the Allegheny Electric Cooperative, Inc. for supply from the New York Power Authority (NYPA).
